I was wondering if it would be smarter to get a good 64mb video card or a cheap 128mb video card? also i was wondering if you could reccomend any... im not a big gamer but i do some gaming from time to time (if that helps any)
What's your budget and do you have an AGP slot?

Not going to get much for that amount of $$$. Doubt if you can find a 128 mb card for that. Why not save a while? Even if you don't game it is hard to get a decent card for less than a $80-$100 or so.

It’s not the best card but it’s definitely not the worst.

I have a ATI Radeon 9200 128MBDDR,
And it is a VERY good card. Not the best out there, but then $400 is a lot of money!
You can probably pick up a 9200 for $100. And it is x8 I believe.
(hey, I have a VooDoo5.5 64MBR if you are interested)

Gigabyte ATI RADEON 9200 128MB Model GV-R92128DH RETAIL
$62.00 on newegg.com
I recently used one on a machine and it would run Will Rock (Game SUcks but it really loads up and tests computer and video card) without dropping textures or slowing down when the enemies spawn at a maximum rate.
