I'm using omega drivers 2496c and using the built in overclocking feature.
I got it clocked at 364/243 but when i reboot windows the clock speeds were reset back to 324/200. What gives?

You need to flash the bios of the card in order to unlock it :

well it turns out i can overclock it afterall. Under 'Boot' i clicked on 'use current' and it said "computer will boot to these settings..." Stupid me i am so blind.

I am overclocking without any additional cooling as i am using passive cooling (stock) I went from 324/200 to 371.25/249.75. 3dmark 2001 scores went from 8295 to 9308.

What are the warning signs that im overclocking too much and the card is getting hot?

Anything that looks *different* from when you are running it stock - speckles, streaks, etc.
