erm whats a LAN party ???. ive herd ppl say it all the time

Its when people bring their own computers to a gathering, where when there they plug them all into one big local area network.

Once this is complete they play games together till the break of dawn.

If you ever get the chance to get in on one, it is definately worth the trouble of lugging your PC around. It's great to actually see the reactions of the people you are gaming with. :D

LAN stands for local area network. Not only see the reactions. Actually see them get frustrated all (loosing) the time makes me feel happy.I can play like 10hrs non-stop.

Hahaha, I get a real kick out of a friend of mine when we go to LAN parties. He gets too envolved with the game and just shouts and cusses out loud whenever he gets fragged.

Plus, when YOU are the one on a losing streak, you can shout over to the guy taking you out, rather than just at the monitor. :p

You don't necessarily have to be a geek/nerd. As long as you like to game, there isbasically no other requirement for a LAN party with your friends. ;)
