Cheating in CoD

Here's an interesting article that shows how people cheat on CoD MP.

Too bad, because it is a fun MP game. However, I've noticed with the kill cam, that many times that people are obviously seeing through walls because they react and change weapons before they could possible see or hear me.

They found that about 1 in 10 to 1 in 20 are cheating in this game.

I think the MP game got old after like 2 weeks but that's a good link and reason on why I probably won't go back to CoD.

I tell you, they need to put Punkbuster into the game the way Americas Army did :)

Last time I played, people were even admitting they were using the hack. i've stopped playing and am looking for a new MP.

I haven't noticed much cheating at all. I specificly like the retreaval mode.

It's a shame that again, cheaters have to ruin a game.

What we need on the PC are the strictly enforced rules on Xbox Live. You can't get away with cheating on there.

What rules do they have for XBOX that makes it so secure and discourages cheating? Maybe b/c it's a console...

I know it's difficult if even possible to cheat online on a console but if a player gets too many complaints his account will be suspended for as long as two months I believe. That is good incentive to play fair and not be annoying.
