How do I partition and format a Slave Drive. Since my 80Gb WD is going to be my main drive with my OS, I was thinking about slaving my 20Gig Quantum Fireball. How would I partition and format that?

If you have the manufacturer's disk for the Quantum you can use it. If not, you can use Fdisk.

Is all I have to do format, then I can start storing files on it?

What OS are you using? If WinXP, are you working from Disk Management?

Yeah XP, I will probably just do the right click on drive, and format. Also the fact that I have XP installed on the 20gig right now won't interfer with the boot process will it?

Make sure you jumper the slave drive as a slave on the back of the drive itself. Install and hopefully everything runs ok, but are you saying you have XP loaded on both drives? If you do, just format over the 20 gig and all should be good and you can start using it for data and such.
I don't know about the boot process. I would think if both drives are read as C: then your BIOS would say boot from IDE0, so which ever is the master on there would be booted from. I'm unsure though.
