I'm going to be getting SBC DSL in the next week or so :D. And I'm going to need a router so that both of the computers in the house can be hooked up to the DSL. I'm going to be using a wired router, and wanted some input from you guys.

Here is the Linksys (http://www.linksys.com/products/product.asp?grid=34&scid=29&prid=561) I'm looking at. I'm also thinking about this DLink (http://dlink.com/products/?pid=62) one.

If you guys have any suggestions for other routers, I would appreciate those. The reason that I picked these out is because I know that Linksys and DLink put out some of the better products in this field.

TIA.

Either one would do the job, but I like the Linksys BEFSR41 for wired connections.

I bought the D-Link DI-614+ on a rebate deal for $15, and it's been a very nice router. I did have to send back the first one because it was defective, but that happens with any brand at times, and it's been excellent since then.

Yeah I have that same router, (the Linksys) and it is pretty good. It rarely stops working. It's pretty good.

Thanks for the feedback guys, I really appreciate it. Especially since I haven't got a clue on what the good routers are ;).

That's a cable modem, not a router. Sorry to spoil your fun Newb....lol...

Nothing at all wrong with either one. The D-Link is a little less expensive and an absolute breeze to set up.
