Figures, M$ really isn't too concerned with your security.

"Pardon us while we indulge in a moment of schadenfreude at Microsoft's expense, but we find this to be terribly amusing. Microsoft takes a lot of heat for the security problems that plague Windows, but this is, to our knowledge, the first time that the open source community has provided a solution to a closed-source Microsoft product. It shows what can happen when people who actually care about security are working to solve security problems."
Never seen that happen before. What has become of M$ now? I wonder what they are thinking? They will probably put out an official patch soon but that last line above just got me b/c of how true it is. How can someone not in your company fix your own probelms before you fix them yourself? :p

Yeah, microsoft will patch it, but isn't their new policy only to release patches once a month instead of as single patches? and if i am correct they decided to hold off on last months patch release to get a couple more ready for next month?, I'm sure that was on the register but was prob only speculation. also, i wonder if this fix came from the source code M$ was forced to share by the antitrust settlement?.
