Fast CS server up and running

I have just put up a new CS 1.5 server. It is being run off a DS3 connection and should be fast if you're on the west coast. Please drop by and play sometime.

No one was there, put scoutzknivez on there to get people to come. When I put my server up with scoutzknivez people come pretty darn fast. I can't get admin mod working anymore after I reinstalled CS and I am too lazy to reinstall it all. Once I get my fiber optic connection I'm gonna put up a BF1942 server at times.

Why not CS 1.6?

We will probably go CS1.6 soon... I've played it a few times and want to wait til some of the Steam issues and some of the riot shield ones are smoothed out before dedicating a server to it. I'll go ahead and put scoutzknivez on there eventhough I hate objectiveless maps. I'll lure people in with deathmatch style and then shove objectives and mission/team style maps down their throat like the game intends!!!

honestly, I think 1.6 is just as good and stable as 1.5. If you can update to 1.6, its what most of the CS community is playing now, heck.. 1.5 is rare now. I'll admit steam has some bugs and issues, but there are fixes for everything that goes wrong. If you go 1.6 you will most likely get more players.. heck, I'll come check it out!! :)

Hey I have a few maps that I made that maybe sometime you can put them in the map cycle, PM and I will send them to you to check out. One is a de objective map and the other is a remake map of the Grid from Perfect Dark.

1.6 still has way to many problems, and it's hard to find a good non cheating-death 1.5 server. You should wait a few months until Steam is running flawlessly.

Is it using Steam or WoN?

I just downloaded steam and haven't played CS in like 2 years. Can someone tell me what happened to the ability to use you mouse to jump? Also it seems like a slower game. I remember being able to run alot faster. I don't know, maybe its me. Oh yeah, When your choosing your weapons in the buy menu are they kinda of blurry? Maybe its a card setting I need to tweek.
