I just finished putting together my computer. I installed Windows 2000, the first part of it atleast. After the blue screen, where it copied all the files to my hard drive, it restarted. What i'm having problems with is that it does not go into the screen where i enter my serial # etc. I'm not sure if i am suppose to do something to the BIOS or something. Any suggestions?
Thanks.

It's a copy. I tried installing it on my old computer, which is already set up (Windows ME). It worked without a problem.

Having said that, I would recommend using the original media to install your software, instead of relying on copies. There is no setting in the BIOS that generates a serial number screen. Check your hardware compatibility with the Microsoft website to see that it isnt a hardware issue.
