Post count not incrementing

I noticed today that I made a few posts and the count number did not change. Further checking and counting my posts from "show all JimmyDee's posts" shows that I have made 38 posts and under my name it shows 30.
Don't really care about the actual number but was wondering why it isn't incrementing properly.
