Unable to delete virus

Hello,

I have Windows XP with AVG and Norton Anti-Virus Program.

I recently received a message from Norton that I have a virus that they are unable to repair because access to the file is denied. The following is the exact message:

Object Name: c:/windows/iykx.maje.exe
Virus Name: Downloader.MSCache

You could also boot to safe mode... quite often the file is in use and cannot be deleted... booting to safe mode doesn't load the file.
