hey all,searched this forum but no luck.need to find a website that sells heatsinks for video card memory.

Sorry. Wouldn't the heat sink and fan need to be a matched set in order to mount together?

i have seen a link here on pcmech that was a site that sold them seprate.did a search and didnt find a thing

No worries about SVC either, there a good company, good customer service and really good prices on their mod stuff.

yeah, svc.com is a good co.i have dealt with them before.also if i got the fan plus memory heatsinks how would i go about taking of the factory fan,and do i need to be an expert to do this

Depends on the card you have, but usually there are 2 plastic spring loaded little clip things. you have to undo those from the back (push the 2 sides totherther) and they usually come right off. If they glued it on as well as used the clips, use a little pry force (not too much!) and see if that works, but i dunno if it would.

i have an ati 9700.i dont want to break anything so i might just buy the heatsinks alone here is a pic.i am not at home and cant remember seeing any spring loaded clips
