Picture Icon appears instead of loading page.

I am trying to play my favoirte online game..but when i click the link to start the game, the window opens but does not display the page. Only a litte picture icon appears. What settings can i change to fix this.

What game, what O/S, what type of net connection and what do you mean by "a little picture icon"?

Online game? Make sure you have flash, java, and shockwave fully updated.
