Ok I bought a PowerColor ATI Radeon 9600 128MB vid card from www.newegg.com. It didnt work in my new build so I sent it back RMA REPAIR. So a few days later I get this e-mail.
"This is an automated E-mail for your RMA# 10208054.Please do not reply!
This email is to confirm your RMA# 10208054 has been successfully received on
12/29/2003:
Please note your package has not been opened yet. Additional email will be sent
to you after we check your RMA package.
Please always allow 2-3 working days for all RMA to process."
Then yestuday I got this e-mail:
"This is an automated E-mail for your RMA# 10208054.Please do not reply!
The following item was received on 1/5/2004:
14-131-404 VGA PWRCLR|RADEON9600 128MB RTL (Quantity: 1 )
Type of RMA: RMA Repair
Note from Newegg.com:
Please allow 2-3 working days from this E-mail for RMA to process.
Due to item availability, some repair RMAs maybe delayed and/or changed to
refund."
So I go onto the website and it says under RMA Status "Your RMA was received on: 12/29/2003
REFUND: We have refunded your account with new Invoice# 4139403 On 01/06/2004 for the total amount of $119.00"
Does that mean the video card was actually bad like I thought since they are refunding it or do they not even test it after I send it back?
