I have a problem with my server -- an NT4 SP5 with recently installed Services for Macintosh. This provides Appletalk for file transfer. It was OK for a few days, until I started transferring more than a few files at once from my Macs.
The server has an Intel Etherport 10/100 -- new, with the latest drivers.
My Mac clients are running OS8.6 and 9, with 10 and 100 base T ethernet. Size of transfer varies: few dozen files transferred is OK. But when trying to transfer a folder with only 3MB of image files (100 or so files), the transfer stops after a few seconds, with the NT server either freezing up, or restarting.
Has anyone out there ever experienced this? Any ideas what might be causing the crash?
Thanks in advance.
