AVG 7.0 Pro email problems

I Like the way it handles memory usage and scanning, but I seem to have hit a snag. I cant get the email scanner to work. I am using Outlook 2000 and it doesnt see the plug-in in the AVG program. I tried all the help files and wizards in the program to no avail. I also went to grisoft.com and looked up the info. Still no good. Should I just take this as a sign to go back to NAV 2003 pro? Or since a lot of people are talking about it Etrust or PC-Cillian 2002( I think thats the version that came with my TUSL2-C)? I already have sygate pro 5.5 firewall installed.

The AVG plugin is for Outlook Express, not Outlook. Turn the plugin off and it should scan and certify the email.

I just went with reinstalling NAV 2003 Pro. Even though it takes up more memory, I am already use to it and never had a problem with it. I wanted to try the trial version of AVG 7.0 to see what the hype was about. Plus, I think I will wait till my subscription runs out for NAV 2003 Pro.

With updated subscriptions, NAV 2003 should be effective for another year or two.
