Hi there,
I've got the newest troubles to solve. Let's take a look:
We have a LAN connected to a Zyxel 312 Firewall connected to a Zyxel 100IH ISDN router. Everything was fine until today afternoon. Suddenly it happend that we were no longer able to access any webserver by http.
We can get the router to dial in as usual. We can ping any remote computer, as well as email (pop & smtp), as well as ftp. But when we want to access a website, using a bookmark or by inputting a web adress directly, it doesn't do anything. M$ IE 5 says "the web page cannot be displayed", and Netscape 4.72 says "connection reset from the opposite side".
You can imagine that we *really* didn't change anything. :( In addition I called the ISP but he said there is no problem. I veryfied this with a dial-in by modem from a notebook. BTW this is the computer I'm sitting in front of and try to get some help. And trying to let the router dial into another dial-in number didn't work either (dialed in, ping and all ok but http).
Turn off / turn on the firewall and the router didn't help either. Switching off the firewall software module of the firewall box didn't help either. Turn off / turn on the Win98 & Win2K workstations didn't help either. :(
HELP!! I'm in desperation... Any idea out there? Thank you very much!!
