Help with Antivirus

I am new to using my nortons antivirus so hopefully someone could help. While doing a system scan it detected a trojan horse virus and says it can not repair it. It does not seem to be hindering the system at all, but how do I get rid of it and the message if It can not be repaired.

Go to Symantec's website and then to the Security Response section, and look up the Trojan by name. The writeup will have removal instructions.
