DVD Ripping

Hey guys I have some questions regarding ripping a DVD to the hard drive. How much space would a DVD ripped with Flask take up? I currently have about 4 Gigs of free space. Would that be enough or do you recommend getting a new larger drive? If I do get a new HDD I would like to set one partition for the DVD stuff, what size should I set it to?
Don't worry I am not pirating anuthing just playign around with my own DVDs. It's just that I've heard of this from a friend of my'n and I want to try it and see how it trully works.

I haven't done this personally, but there was an extensive article at http://www.tomshardware.com about it. Run a search over there for MPEG4 and you'll turn it up.

I ripped gone in 60 seconds on DVD with flask and it took about a good 7 Gb you should get a bigger hard drive.
