Just registered a first domain name ever. Have some questions

I have just registered a new domain name through www.domaindirect.com

The problem is even though I do enter a url for URL forwarding so that it leads to my livejournal, but when I go to my sites URL I get a message from MSN that says there is no such site. But its been only like 3 hours since I registered.

So, is someting wrong or do I have to wait?

It can take days, but usually about 24 hours, for a new domain to propagate through the net.
