Hi. I have a Sony USB 2.0 256MB Micro Vault flash drive and I would like to use it in DOS. Does anyone know what has to be done to make it work in DOS ?
Thanks in advance

dos does not support usb
you must have at least windows 95
Depends exactly what you mean by "Dos".

I need to use the USB drive in DOS to remove files off a HD because the computer is unable to be booted up in Win 98.
I tried looking on bootdisk.com but I was unable to find anything about USB flash drives.

why not try a w98 boot disk, (floppy)
It *might* work if the bios supports USB legacy devices. Otherwise, a spare hard drive would be the easiest way to recover files, slave it in and use a bootdisk. Note that at the DOS level, you lose long file names, so the best solution is remove the hard drive and slave it into another machine and copy files using Windows - that way you can use your flash drive for sure.
