I just got my first job at Chukee Cheese, it seems to be a fun working enviornment.
Any Tips?

Be punctual, dress neatly, keep yourself groomed well, do as you're told, do simple things on your own without having to be told, never talk back to a customer and take pride in your work.

Save around 10% of your every paycheck to open a savings account. At the end of the year, if you have enough $$$ saved, go open an IRA account (it's never too early to start saving for retirement...make use of that compound interest and tax-deferred / tax-deductible benefits). My refund is only $240 but it comes to $500+ after my IRA contribution.
Oh yeah, just to let everyone know, we have up to Apr. 15 to make 2003 contributions to our IRA (max of $3,000 contribution per yr...$3,500 if you're over 50). You can open an IRA account for as little as $500.

Since this is your first job I suspect you might be still living with your parents, and thus have few living expenses. If so, I would save more than 10% from each check, I personally save 50% each check, but when I need to buy a car, buy college books and so forth, I won't have to struggle as much to make ends meet.
Ugh, april 15, tax time. I still haven't received my last statement, aren't they supposed to be in the mail by the end of january? Hopefully I get it today, as I need to finish filling out the FAFSA as well.
