I like the Black better. I thought that one was easier on the eyes and made the contents of the site jump out at you and catch your attention.

At least since i learned PHP includes, it will allow me to make the rest of my pages and then make an overall change. Please keep the vote and advice coming!

i think the black background with the red accents (toolbars and such) looks good. it matches your banner a little better.
