Hey HAL9000 I am really going to get a snow blower for the brutal snow of NY :) This is what I am getting http://www.hondapowerequipment.com/hs520as.htm for the tiny driveway we have and my dad has this monster at this bakery http://www.hondapowerequipment.com/hs928tas.htm

Thats still small around here... most people have at LEAST 8.5 horse... my dad had a 10hp... a few of the neighbours had 12.5.

BTW... that pic is in Labrador.

actually that picture is not all that unusall, I have seen snow banks that high many times,
what causes it is each time the plow goes buy the bank gets higher, till they need to add a extension to be able to blow it higher, after which that add a verticall blade to make the walls stright and by that time you end up with that picture,

I have pictures of the same nature from nothern michigan.

your really just seeing the inside of the snow bank, the atcual snow lever on the other side of the bank will be in the neighborhood of 6 to 8 feet of snow.

still it is impressive from this point of view

Wonder how big the lake will be when all that melts!? Sure hope they don't get a rapid temp rise! That road will look like the Colorado River running thru Grand Canyon!!
