Logitech eliet keyboard

Just got this today. Its real nice. I like all the functionality and all. Didn't see the need to go wirless as its a keyboard and I havent yet found and instance of needing to move around with it. I do have one question. Do I need the software because i think it put some spy ware on my compute. I need to track it down. I know when i tried installing the software for the MX700 mouse it put some spy ware on here. Took me for ever to get rid of wild tanget. Why does logitech bundle spyware with there software?

You only need the software if you want to use all the extra buttons. The only thing I've seen Logitech software install is Backweb - you got Wild Tangent from a game.

I've installed the software for both that keyboard & my MX500 w/ absolutely no spyware.

I have the same combo and haven't experienced any spyware in the software, go ahead and install it, live dangerously.

GLC wild tangent was check marked on the logitech keyboard software. I caught it this time, but does in fact come with the logitech software. I checked my mouseware software and it came on that too. It's called Wild tangent game channel. So anyone out there that has logitech stuff remember to uncheck mark it. Thanks for the info on back web though. What is backweb exactly. alot of my friends have it on their computers as well and wanted to know if it was ok to get rid of.
