hello, I have never been in such a love hate relationship before, ahh computers.
I just went through the process of re formating. The little important stuff i had was backed up. But still its time consuming.
What I am wondering is what good is sys restore if you can't get to it? That makes my question: Can you get to sys restore from a prompt?(after booting off a floppy).I am not trying to get into the question of DOS in ME though.
I saw a program called "Emergency Recovery System" http://www.mslm.com/ers9x.htm
that said it worked through a prompt(just what I wanted a day ago:)).
But like some shareware out there I thought it might not be necessary.
