Ok

What if one wanted to move their swap file from one partition to another(C->D,D->C)? Is this possible? Is this desireable? What are the net effects of such a move? Are there any performance gains?

Thanks.

Click on Start->Settings->Control Panel->System->Preformance Tab->Virtual Memory->Let ME Specify.

There are many thoughts on what to do with the swap file. Some say to use Norton and move it to the front part of the fastest hdd you have. You can play with these settings until your blue in the face and will probably never see, feel or taste any differences at all.. :)

Thank Ezy Stvy

I knew there was more to it than just manually moving the swap.386 file.
