i bought a green keyboard for £2.99 at aut direct and when i went to test it all the letter keys past y,h,n dont work and i am running windows xp and the installation disk only supports nt ,98 and windows 2000 please help :confused: :confused:

Take it back to the place you bought it and ask for a replacement.

That does sound like a physical hardware defect with the actual keyboard itself. Could you test it on another PC?? You could try the installation disk since NT/2K is very similar to XP, but I doubt if it will make any difference..
The installation disk is not required for all basic keyboard functions, it's only to enable extra keys and buttons over and above the standard 104 or so keys. You have a defective keyboard, period. Fairly typical for a keyboard that cheap, quality control is minimal when they make them that cheap. It will prolly cost you more than that to send it back for a replacement, best avenue may be to just trash it or rip it apart to see what makes a keyboard work.

i have changed ity for a silver keyboard and mouse for £8.99
