cdr win problem

I have installed the program CDR WIN 3.6a in order for me to use for burning data on cdr.
When i click on create back up disk, the following error response appears: NO CDROM RECORDING DEVICE WAS FOUND ON SCSI BUS.
Can somebody tell me what it means.
cd rom is ok in device manager and cd recorder also.
I do not have scsi eqpt on computer.

Well, maybe there's an option where you can tell the cdr win not to search the scsi bus (since you don't have one).

Maybe you have to update the software.
