Visual Basic Scripting

My inlaws computer says it requires Visual Basic Scripting Support. Where is it? This occurred after we removed Lotus Smartsuite.

check it out on http://www.microsoft.com/scripting. You can download the latest version of the windows scripting host (which includes vbscript).

Just go to Add/Remove programs in control Panel, select the Windows Setup tab, and under Accessories, second from the bottom is Windows Scripting Host. Put a tick mark in it, Apply/OK, and have the Windows CD handy.

Before you go too far and put it back, check out what the VBS file is that is causing the problem.
The quickest way is probably to run a full virus scan with updated definions.
There are a "ton" of viri that spread using VBS files.
