Crackiling Speakers since TV card

I brought a Pinnacle PCTV Card about 1 week ago now, but could never get any sound out of it, so in turn, have thaken it back to the shops...

... but since then, after about 10 minutes my 2 front speakers from my Logitech 5.1 surround start crackiling louder and louder.

Dose anyone know what is causing this? maybe i accidenly changed something in the windows sound when trying to get my tv card to work???

Try uninstalling and reinstalling your sound card drivers - the Pinnacle software install may have screwed them up. If this doesn't work and you have WinME or WinXP, you could try doing a system restore back to before you installed the TV card.
