I have a sound card at the back of my PC, but was also planning on buying the CREATIVE LABS SB 2 ZS Platinum to go in a bay on the front of my pc, i know someone who has it but it came built in with thier PC, and I was just wondering if they would conflict with eacy other of something.

Also, it has two plugs for optical cables, will I be able to plug my minidisk player in and record directly to it? :)

Thanks

If you presently have onboard sound, all you have to do is uninstall the drivers and disable it in the bios before installing the Audigy. If you have an internal PCI sound card, same thing - uninstall the drivers and remove it from the box. I would not try to run 2 sound cards. The Platinum is not just a front bay, it's also a PCI card, they interconnect with a cable.

so, if you recomend not having 2 sound cards, where would my speakers plug into? as it would be stupid for them to be plugged in at the front..

Into the jacks on the back of the PCI card, just like any other PCI sound card.

That card is not just in the front bay. It has a PCI card and a front bay. Take a look at THESE (http://www.newegg.com/app/Showimage.asp?image=29-102-163-03.JPG/29-102-163-02.JPG/29-102-163-07.JPG/29-102-163-04.JPG/29-102-163-05.JPG/29-102-163-06.JPG/29-102-163-08.JPG) pictures.
