Autorun wont work

My autorun went bye bye....any ideas how to fix this problem

What exactly do you mean by "autorun" ?
Do you mean the CD autorun feature or the autostart folder ?

Case 1 (cd):
If you have installed TweakUI, look around, there's an option to turn it on and off.
If you haven't TweakUI, rightclick on My Computer, select properties, switch to device manager, get info about your cdrom and enable the checkbox "automatic notify after change" or something similar.

Case 2 (folder):
If you have installed TweakUI, look, around, maybe there's an option for that.
If not, go to START > RUN, type in REGEDIT. It's like Windows explorer, so navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Current Version\Explorer\Shell Folders.
The entry "startup" contains the autostart folder, usually set to C:\WINDOWS\START MENU\PROGRAMS\AUTOSTART (or whatever the corrent names of that folders are).

Hey RJ,thnx for the reply.Its the autorun feature on my cdrom.Any cd i used to load would automatically start and now they dont.so this may be a regisrty problem?

Try this
START/RUN/REGEDIT
HKEY LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CURRENTCONTROLSET\
SERVICES\CLASS\CDROM
Make sure the value is 1.This should enable
the AUTORUN feature in the registry.
