Alright, I have had this WD for about two months, and now I am experiencing problems with the drive spinning up. I am pretty sure the drive is toast, however when I let the drive "cool down" (turning the computer off for a few minutes) it begins to work correctly (not constantly trying to spin up). This problem just began to occure and I was wondering if it could be attributed to the heat build up within my box. It has also become very sensative to vibration, very light taps to the case. It is my boot drive, and I am writing here using the system it is installed in.
I also had a question about good imaging software, so when I get the new drive I can simply image the new one, because there is no data loss, just very unreliable operation.
Thanks,
Anthony
