EDIT: Here is the story.
I went to college, was hooked up to the internet fine and dandy. I come back home, buy a microsoft wireless router for my home PC. I also get a wireless PCI networking card, also Microsoft. I spend hours on the phone with tech support, because the card won't work at all. They offer to send me a new one, which still has not gotten here.
So, I moved my computer into the same room as the other one. Plugged a networking cable into the router and into my computer. It says the Local area connection is enabled, but I cannot connect to the internet. Why?
Also, any recommendations on good wireless network cards? I'm just going to get a refund from microsoft.
