Okay..here we go. Have a new home built system running the Bluetooth Wireless desktop (mouse and keyboard). After installing, both operate for a time. However, the receiver eventually loses the mouse. I've tried editing my registry (as per Microsoft's suggestions), reinstalling drivers (no help), new batteries (nix), so finally I succumb to just using my USB mouse and the Bluetooth keyboard. The mouse is not detected by the receiver when I try to manually reconnect. Any help would be great guys, thanks:)

I assume the brand is Microsoft Radioactiveninja because they are one of the few that have relased wireless bluetooth desktop sets and also the mention of seeking microsoft for help with it.

I use the M$ bluetooth mouse with my Mac and get somewhat of a similar situation. The mouse seems to go to sleep after a period of inactivity. This is fixed on my Mac by pressing a mouse button whereupon the mouse wakes up and re-connects. This takes about 1-2 seconds but it does re-connect. Unfortunately it seems your mouse is not waking up on demand, it may be faulty hardware. I would be tempted to return the device for a replacement.

Sorry, guys. Yes it is a Microsoft keyboard and mouse. I've experienced the "snooze" mode you talked about, ninja. The keyboard does that initially. I begin typing and it takes a few seconds to connect and get going. Thanks for the little bit of information. Not sure what to do at this point

Is selling the Bluetooth and buying a regular Logitech MX Duo an option?
