I don't know if this is the right forum to post this question, but it's probably a common problam .
Does anyone know why a computer would shut down and restart every few minutes while on the web ?

Can you post your complete system specs, whether it's a home built or store bought computer, which OS you're using and what kind of internet connection you're using (dial-up or broadband).

Sounds like a virus off hand. Isn't that what the Blaster worm did when people got on-line?

yeah i once had a virus like that-- it was such a pain in the neck
