I HAVE Hotswapped a floppy drive, NIC, sound card.... all work... I have hotswapped a CD-Rom... locked up the system I once had a hard drive that would lock up the BIOS, so I manually entered the into... booted to windows, conntected the drive and retrieved the data. :p

Also learned how one should always, always backup.
