Lexmark X83 Problem

Hey, I have a lexmark X83 printer, and I keep getting the message "unlock scanner" on the display, after I have already slid the switch on the back of the printer to unlock.

Can someone please help?

not yet. i was hoping to get some advice from someone off this forum first. contacting lexmark means waiting forever on hold.

You don't have to wait on hold, just search the website.

Amazing what you can find searching manufacturers' knowledge bases.......anyway, looks like you aren't the only one with this problem!
