Are cyberzone power supplies any good? I bought a case that came with a cyberzone 400w psu, but is it good quality? could a bad psu damage my motherboard? It only had 4 power connectors on it so it can't be a 400w unit. Is it safe to rum a s-ata seagate barracuda drive off this thing?

It also has 1 AT connector. what is this for? if i remember correctly, at boards have 2 connectors.
a bad PSU can be potentially dangerous. id have to give that PSU thumbs down, as ive never heard of it. get yourself an antec, sparkle, or fortron unit.

could a bad psu damage my motherboard?Oh yes...a low quality power supply can die prematurely and possibly kill anything it's connected to in your computer.Originally posted by no m$

I actually had a Cyberzone PSU for aboot a year. (I thought I was the only one) It ran ok and didnt give me any problems . I just didnt want to risk messing stuff up when I found out the risks of having cheap PSU's so I switched to Enermax just to be safe.

Yes I would definatley look for a 350-400w antec, enermax, sparkle, fortron, or thermaltake psu to use instead.
