Before I run out and finally get some PC3700 or PC4000 RAM which I should've put in my new build from the get go (had a pair of Crucial pc3200 laying around), I want to take the ol' Crucial as far as it will go. I think I am pretty close, but wondered if anyone had any more suggestions, especially Tin Canary :)

Right now I've got

p4 2.8C @ 3332 @238FSB @1.58V up to 1.6V with no diff.
2x512 Crucial pc3200 @ 5:4 2.5-4-4-8 @2.75V

i've tried 3-4-4-8 @2.85V on the RAM, no big difference.

Comp will boot, run most programs, reboots about 30 minutes into Prime 95 toture test (lots of RAM "blend" test)

temps have been 72C ambient, 32C idle, 50C load

*edit* sorry, thought I was still in O/C forum, please relocate :)

it sounds to me like you may have maxed out your memory. does your board go any higher than 2.85V on the VDIMM? if it does, then crank it all the way, most memory can handle 3.1V+, so dont get scared to feed it a little more juice. if thats as high as it will go, then it may be maxed out. still a nice OC with that particular memory :)

thanx tin, 2.85 is the max on that board...got the timings to run at 2.5-2-2-5 and at 3360 now...Guess i will live with it, either that or get some OCZ or Corsair then I know I'll be looking at H2O cooling!! :) **should'a just got a dell** lmao
