My computer e-mail started acting "wierd". I did a full system scan with NAV - the virus software on my compter.
I did not find anything. So I did a Housecall with Trend
Micro and it came up with the Netsky P worm that had
infected many files. Made sure the live update had done
its thing and scanned again and NAV did not find any
problems. Whats up? Is the Trend Micro virus software
that much better? Worth buying over NAV?

In my opinion nortons has slipped badly the last few years,I rank it just a little above mccafee(?),I use the free verion of AVG you can get it atwww.grisoft.com (http://www.grisoft.com) there are other free ones out there that are better than nortons, and yes trend micro is a better av.There may be someone else on this site who can direct you to a better av,so check back here on your post.

I personally use NAV on this sytem. I have AVG on the Dell. They are equally good from my experience. I got them both for free.

Norton definitions released March 22 can detect and remove this worm. Download and run their removal tool and you should be fine.

Are you sure that Housecall isn't just finding it in the system restore files?
