Far Cry demo issues

I'm having some graphical issues with the Far Cry demo. On some rocks, what should be shadows look more like dark grey artifacts. Everything else looks okay; does anyone else have this problem? The card I'm using is in my sig. Thanks.

The demo didn't work too well with that card from what I've heard. Also, any graphical changes that I made required me to exit to the desktop and restart the demo.
