Well, I just built a new computer about two weeks ago and everything has been going great. I had no problems with it. As of about an hour ago something has been acting up that ive never seen before. While I was doing homework on my computer, my computer screen started acting real funny. Differnet tints of blue just started flashing all across the screen. I'm not sure how to describe it. Everything is still running fine but then my screen will turn a tint of blue. Its just weird I guess but very annoying. My video Card is a ATI 9600 XT. Thanks for the help

Which driver are you using for the vid card? If you aren't using the most current, you might want to upgrade. Here's a link to the driver config page.

sure sounds video related to me, have you overclocked the video any? if so try pulling the speeds back, if not I'd check the fan on the video card and try running the PC with the side off to see if the extra air keeps the temp down. Could of course be a bum card...hope not...

My Video Card is about 3 months old and never had a problem with it. I have the lasest drivers with it too. I hooked up my video card to my tv through the s-video slot and on the TV the picture is perfect color. If theres anything else you guys can think of.

Well, I was trying to do some more troubleshooting so I hooked up my friends monitor to my computer and it works fine. Is there anyway that the monitor just went out on me. Its only 2 years old and a dell monitor.

The monitor could easily be going out. You could check to make sure the pins in the connector aren't loose or missing.

Checked the pins everythins fine there. I plugged in my monitor to my friends computer and I had the same color issue. I just have one question really, Is it possible that my computer some how blew out my monitor? Thanks

The monitor is probably just going bad. It happens. A few years ago I bought a 15in monitor for $250 and it lasted two months. The replacement lasted about 14 months then it got too dark to see anything.
