Efs?

I can't seem to get EFS to work. As far as I know it should be as simple as logging into the account you want the password to be from and checking the box to encrypt the folder. But when I do this, and log into another account all I have to do is give myself permissions and I get right in. Am I missing something? Something else that needs to be set up on my system? Using XP Pro, maybe I turned something off that governs EFS? Any ideas?

Do you have XP installed on a FAT32 or NTFS partition?

IF it's FAT32, you can't use EFS.

What happens when you don't give the account permissions to access the file?

What user level are you working at? An administrator would be able to over-ride any permissions set by another user, upto and including resetting passwords.
