shadow of chaos

I heard that nvidia & ATI are releasing new video cards with 16 bit pipelines within the next few months, if i buy one is it possible to use the card on my current mobo or will i need a new one? apparently the cards will use pci express so just wondering if it'll work just as good as AGP 4 / 8 AGP 8 was a gimmick in my opinion and i noticed hardly any difference in games.

As I have been hearing around this forum, the PCI express will not make the biggest difference in performance of GPUs - so it's not revolutionary (like the release of DDR RAM, per se), but it is faster. Look at me - I just fearelessly bought a ATI Radeon 9800 Pro :)

Hope that helps,

curse my impatience. just get happy with my system and it'll be completely outdated.

ddr=ddr2
agp=pci express
semi fast 32 bit proc=64 bit proc

why!
