i rather like the idea. imagine you go buy an OS in the shop, and when you come home you can connect the cardboard box directly to your screen and peripherals and you're ready to go :) . (the os should come on separate discs too off course.)
And this is a very portable machine.

Great idea. If placed just right, no one would know where your computer is. I like it.

haha pretty sweet computer.. amazing what they can do with mini-ITX.. guess it makes Windows a bit less of a rip-off if u get a free case with it right?
anyway has anyone seen a PC case with a large windows logo on the side kind of like the picture on the desktop here (http://www.mini-itx.com/projects/windowsxpbox/images/windowsxpbox0019.jpg) .. but more 'head on' rather than so angled.. the logo in blue (with some leds perhaps) would look good, if done right (ie not just cut out of a regular case)
..what an international bunch of people on this thread!

I still can't see how someone could have that much patience to construct a PC that will fit into a little box.

I agree Andy, nevermind how difficult it would be to assemble the PC with out damaging the box itself...
