Hi,
What is a good mpeg-2 decoder for WMP?
TIA
Any DVD playback software. Dunno about a free one, though. But PowerDVD and WinDVD will work.

Thanks for your quick reply RJ, I have PowerDVD by Cyberlink, do you think that would work?
Yep. Just install it. Windows Media Player just requires a third party MPEG-2 decoding program installed to play MPEG-2 files back. So once you installed PowerDVD you can use WMP to play MPEG-2 files (and if you like you can use PowerDVD as well).

When you install this software, how do integrated it into WMP or does WMP just use automatically use the decoder?

Whoops you just answered my question, thanks again RJ.
WMP will play MPEG-2 just after you installed PowerDVD. You don't need to do anything else.
EDIT: Now this time I was too slow :D
