I have dual monitors setup but I don't know how to use it. I see my desktop on the other computer but I don't see any programs. How do I use my computer with dual monitors?

just try dragging the programs over onto the other desktop. (also it would help if we had a little more info about your setup)

Its a new dell inspiron 5100 laptop with a mobile radeon 7500 with s-video and regular monitor out., I have it hooked up to my TV right now just to test it. So I have to drag the programs manualy? Is there any way to do it by pressing certain keys or something?

to use dual monitors, you need dual video cards and in the display properties for the settings

I have it working now by dragging the program windows over. Is there a way to get the programs to automaticly go to the other monitor or a way to program a hotkey or something? Are there any uses for haveing dual monitors besides haveing more desktop space?
You are doing all you can do now. When you drag windows over to the other monitor, they should "remember" that they are there, and will open on the other monitor next time you open them. That's all duals are for, extending your desktop - unless you have drivers that will allow duplicate displays, this is useful for doing presentations and stuff like that.

yeah...once you move a program to one screen, it should open there from then on.
