Hey all,

What annoys you? The annoyance that I have is with loud heatsink fans. They drive me nuts.

Eating breakfast early everyday at the local joint there's always a table of hens trying to out cackle the other. At that time of day (7-8 a.m.) I'm in no mood for noise and tell myself I won't go back; however the $3.35 price for all the fixins' draws me back.

Stupid people annoy me. Some people are just blinded by arrogance or ignorance (sometimes both) and it bugs me to death. Most of my current teachers are like that. You never know as much as them, never will... even if you already do. That is what i define stupid as, dont know about the rest of you though

People that can't even go the speed limit. And people that are talking on their cell phones and slow down, speed up, slow down, and speed up. They just can't seem to stay at the same speed for very long. And impatient people. Mostly the impatient people that just have to pull out in front of you when there is obviously no one behind you for a "literally" mile.

IDE ribbon cables annoy me quite a bit. 12:00 blinking on electronics because I am too lazy to set the time is really annoying. But the thing that annoys me the most is a girl that works at taco bell at campus. She takes like 10 orders at once, gets confused, asks everyone again what they want, messes up 50% of orders, and takes 9 minutes to make a cheese quesadilla.

My brother. Just take out the "r" ;) He:

(1) Asks me to fix his computer every time something happens
(2) Laughs at me when I make an itsy bits mistake, then pinches me to death if I laugh at him (he still hasn't noticed that I never laugh at him if he hasn't botered me first)

Also, soap advertisements. My bro & sis are so awed at the advertisements that if my mom buyes the soap in the advertisements, they'll clean dishes for her, until they realise that the sopas don't work as well as in the advertisements. Then they forget, and ask my mom to buy some other kind of soap ;)

Stupid people... and ya know.. university students (no offense to anyone) have to be some of the dumbest people I have ever met. Anyone that knows me is gonna know my little rant about selling long distance phone cards in the store... the conversations go like this;

Me: May I help you

Customer: I want an international phone card

Me: what kind would you like

Customer: An international one

Me: There are several types here, which one would you like

Customer: One to call ********

Me: There are several that call to ********

Customer: The yellow one (take note, they don't know how to call it by name, they ask by colour)

Me: For how much? We have 5, 10, and 20 dollar cards

Customer: *holds out a $10 bill, but doesn't speak*

Me: *hands them a $10 card*

Customer: (annoyed) no... I want two $5 cards (or sometimes it can be) no... I want one $5 card

Me: *mumbling to myself* well speak up next time brainiac instead of just shoving cash in my face.

Almost all commercials

People that drive 30mph on a 45mph road where even the cops drive 50.

People that think they know everything

Overhearing someone elses conversation in which they are completely misinformed and I want to butt in and correct them

When it gets very windy in the evening after a nice warm day

This list could go on for miles. I won't go any further.

Having a POS graphics card that craps out on you when your in college but you cant get it fixed because you have the 3 year service plan and it can only be fixed at best buy with out breaking the service plan and you are at Michigan Tech where the closest best buy is 3 hours away in winsconsin so you gotta wait 2 months until you go home to have it fixed.

Good one! I agree.

Other things that bother me -

People that talk in caps lock on AIM.

People that have to be right about everything.

Public restrooms. (For #2s)

Chain IM's. (No, some dead 8-year-old girl is not going to visit me if I don't send this to 10 people, and besides, why the hell would she care?)

I could name a lot more too.

I have this happen a lot to me too. I cashier at a theme park, and this is the worst instance of that type of situation I've had. A customer more or less shoved a pile of coupons at me, some of which were inaplicable to what they wanted or expired. Then he asks me to price out several options for him since you can buy specific sections of the park (waterpark, lasertag, mini golf) the whole things, or everything but water. Then as I go back to void out what he wanted me to spec out he had the nerve to comment to his wife (in front of me) that I was certainly taking a while. He never told me what he wanted or precisely how many people were in his party. At that moment I just asked him how many people he had, how many were under 10, and sold him that many full price tickets for the whole park and dumped the coupons in the trash.

I've also had a number of customers who need their receipt for something, usually an exchange or refund, but since they threw it out or don't bother to search their pockets or purse, they insist I never gave it to them.

Since I'm ranting about work right now, another things that bugs me is employees who don't work. They show up late, don't work, wander off and do nothing, yet never seem to get written up or reprimanded.

People who drive 60mph on 65mph highway outside of town, yet as soon as they get into town they can drive 40mph on a 30mph road, or worse- 30mph down a 20mph main street. Why do these people speed when they are around cops, but when their out in the open they are too scared to drive the speed limit?

People who do 30 mph in the laft lane.

People who can't keep their car at a constant speed, i.e. they do 30 uphill and 70 downhill and 50 on everything in between.

Heavy wind driven sleet.

"Groupies" who block the Hallway at my high school

Drivers who just have to tailgate behind me! I cant stand tailgating. especially when my dad does it. lol

Thats just to name a few. :)

Seems like new stuff pops up to annoy me when I least expect it [like those new "Take Over Your Web Page ads"] . . . but I try to keep with Louis Armstong & that sunny side of the street

. . . speaking of which, that $3.35 breakfast Sarge mentioned sounds pretty good = can almost hear the eggs sizzling, someone turning the potatoes, cakes on the griddle, maple syrup in the morning!
